Diversity and Equity in Planning Pedagogy
I co-authored the article, “Teaching Equity and Advocacy Planning in a ‘Post-Racial’ Multicultural World” for the Journal of Planning Education and Research, which offers pedagogical lessons for planning, highlighting strategies to help students and instructors navigate tough personal and professional questions about advocacy and equity planning in today’s multicultural, “post-racial” world.
My Planning Theory and Practice commentary also responds to the current climate to discuss how planners can support immigrant communities in times of political precarity.
